Goal

FireCloud users need an application to connect them to the service. At MVP, we had designed a barebones Windows and macOS tray application that allowed users to simply connect and disconnect, along with viewing some log messages. An extended effort to design for mobile platforms (iOS and Android) prompted a redesign of the existing desktop applications to keep a consistent design across all the platforms along with some extended functionality.

Guidelines

• Keep consistent styling with other applications such as WatchGuard Authpoint and WatchGuard Endpoint Protection

• The design must have the same styling at functionality across the different platforms

• User friendly design that allows non-technical users to easily use the application when needed

• Scalable design for future features added to the application

• Easily deployed as a network admin
